Happy Tuesday!!! I hope you all had a lovely morning!
This evening I am sharing a handful of my favourite quotes from this delightful novel!
Happy reading!! ❤
When someone’s been gone a long time, at first you save up all the things you want to tell them. You try to keep track of everything in your head. But it’s like trying to hold on to a fistful of sand: all the little bits slip out of your hands, and then you’re just clutching air and grit. Because by the time you finally see each other, you’re catching up only on the big things, because it’s too much bother to tell about the little things. But the little things are what make up life.
It feels strange to have spent so much time wishing for something, for someone and then one day, suddenly, to just stop.
“You’d rather make up a fantasy version of somebody in your head than be with a real person.”
I read this book a few years ago, but I really enjoyed it! It was a very sweet and cute contemporary romance and I recently read the other two books in the trilogy, which were just as adorable.
I also really liked the Netflix movie adaptations of the books! They were such adorable teen rom-coms that I could happily watch over and over again!!
Hello my lovely readers!! I hope you’re all having a fantastic day so far. ❤
Today I’m back with a review of the third and final installment of the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before trilogy. I had such a wonderful time with this series, and this ending was so bittersweet.
I hope you enjoy!! 🙂
Always and Forever, Lara Jean by Jenny Han Genre: Young Adult – Contemporary, Romance Series: To All the Boys I’ve Loved #3 Pages: 325 Publication Date: May 2017 My Rating: 4.5 of 5 stars
Read Jul 2020
Goodreads Synopsis: Lara Jean is having the best senior year.
And there’s still so much to look forward to: a class trip to New York City, prom with her boyfriend Peter, Beach Week after graduation, and her dad’s wedding to Ms. Rothschild. Then she’ll be off to college with Peter, at a school close enough for her to come home and bake chocolate chip cookies on the weekends.
Life couldn’t be more perfect!
At least, that’s what Lara Jean thinks . . . until she gets some unexpected news.
Now the girl who dreads change must rethink all her plans—but when your heart and your head are saying two different things, which one should you listen to?
Have you read this series? Did you enjoy them? Which book was your favourite?
Did you watch the movie adaptations of the first two books?
Which other Jenny Han book should I read next?
I’d love to discuss it in the comments down below!!
As always, thank you so much for reading! I hope you enjoyed!! ❤
See you again soon! 😉
