Happy Sunday, my lovely readers! I hope you’re all having a beautiful weekend!
This morning I’m here with a super fun Book Tag to celebrate my 20th birthday this week!
Ahh, I still can’t believe that I’m entering my twenties. This is my last weekend as a teenager!
To celebrate, I’m going to do The Birthday Book Tag, which was originally created a few years ago by Antonia @ Always Books.
I hope you enjoy! If your birthday is coming up (or you just want a fun tag), then I encourage you to join in!
Birthday Cake – A book with a plot that seems cliché but you adore it anyway
That’s a fun question! I’m going to choose Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout. The Lux series definitely has a strong cheese factor and some clichés, but it is without a doubt one of my favourite series!

Party Guests — Your most anticipated book release for this year
My most anticipated release for 2021 actually already came out, and that was Twice Shy by Sarah Hogle. After how much I loved her debut novel, I couldn’t have possibly been more excited for Twice Shy. I was lucky enough to read the book a couple of months ago, and while I did enjoy it, the book was not quite everything I dreamed it would be.

Happy Tuesday, everybody!! I hope you’re all having a great week!! 🙂
This morning I am sharing my a handful of my favourite quotes from one of my favourite books, The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen.
Hope you enjoy! 😉
There is never a time or place for true love. It happens accidentally, in a heartbeat, in a single flashing, throbbing moment.
Shoulda, coulda, woulda. It’s so easy in the past tense.
“But if everything was always smooth and perfect, you’d get too used to that, you know? You have to have a little bit of disorganization now and then. Otherwise, you’ll never really enjoy it when things go right.”
But it was okay not to fit in everywhere, as long as you did somewhere.
It’s just that…I just think that some things are meant to be broken. Imperfect. Chaotic. It’s the universe’s way of providing contrast, you know? There have to be a few holes in the road. It’s how life is.
“I like flaws. I think they make things interesting.”
I could go on and on all day long about how much I adore Sarah Dessen’s writing, but I think these quotes speak for themselves.
This was the second Sarah Dessen book that I ever read over five years ago, but it still remains to be one of my all-time favourites of hers. All of the characters were phenomenal, the plot was beautiful, and I don’t even have the words to describe flawless the romance was.
