Good morning and happy Saturday! Long time, no see, but I couldn’t be happier to be back. 🙂
Today I’m here with a review of Dreamland by Sarah Dessen. This was the second time that I read this book (the first being about five and half years ago which is so insane to think about because it feels like just yesterday) and it was interesting how my perspective of certain elements of the story have shifted with time.
Hope you enjoy!!
Wake up, Caitlin.
Ever since she started going out with Rogerson Biscoe, Caitlin seems to have fallen into a semiconscious dreamland where nothing is quite real. Rogerson is different from anyone Caitlin has ever known. He’s magnetic. He’s compelling. He’s dangerous. Being with him makes Caitlin forget about everything else–her missing sister, her withdrawn mother, her lackluster life. But what happens when being with Rogerson becomes a larger problem than being without him?
Have you read Dreamland? What were your thoughts on it?
Have you read any of Sarah Dessen’s other books? Which one is your favourite?
I’d love to hear from you in the comments down below!
Thanks so much for joining me today. I hope to see you again soon!! 🙂
