Tag: Fall Time Cozy Book Tag

Happy first day of October, everyone! I hope you’re all having a fantastic day so far! In celebration of the autumn season, I thought that I would do the Fall Cozy Book Tag! ❤
I wasn’t actually tagged for this, but I LOVE book tags, and decided to do it to celebrate the first day of the month. I’m not exactly sure who originally created this tag, but if you happen to know, please let me know so that I can give them credit.
Let’s get started – I hope you enjoy!!
🙂

1. Crunching Leaves: The world is full of colour. Choose a book that has reds, oranges and yellows on the cover.

I was so thrilled when they re-designed all of Sarah Dessen’s book covers several years ago, because these ones are stunning! What Happened to Goodbye is definitely one of my favourites of the covers, even if this wasn’t one of my favourite stories of hers!

See my review of What Happened to Goodbye here.

2. Cozy Sweater: It’s finally cold enough to don warm cozy clothing. What book gives you the warm fuzzies?

These graphic novels are BY FAR some of the cutest stories that I have ever read – they definitely gave me the warm fuzzies and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough!!

3. Fall Storm: The wind is howling and the rain is pounding. Choose your favourite book OR genre that you like to read on a stormy day.

I’m definitely cozying up with something romantic! You can’t go wrong with a cute contemporary romance on a stormy day. You really couldn’t go wrong with a cute contemporary romance on any day.
I’m going to take this opportunity to suggest a super fun and light adult rom-com that I recently read, You Deserve Each Other by Sarah Hogle. If you’re looking for a quick and easy read that’s equally hilarious and heart-warming, you can’t go wrong with this one.
Stay tuned for a review coming your way soon!! 😉

4. Cool Crisp Air: What’s the coolest character you’d want to trade places with?

Hmmm, this is a tough one. Most characters I’d want to trade places with have had a lot of really terrible, traumatic things happen to them, but they are dating my dream husbands. As much as I would love to trade places with Katy from Lux or Alex from Covenant so that I could be with Daemon or Aiden, I wouldn’t exactly be thrilled to be stuck with all of the problems that their lives are riddled with.

Instead, I’m going to go with Lucy Hutton from The Hating Game because she works at a book publishing company, which sounds amazing! I would absolutely love to have her job… and I wouldn’t say no to a little bit of Josh Templeman either.

See my review of The Hating Game here.

5. Hot Apple Cider: What under hyped book do you want to see become the next biggest, hottest thing?

11408650

Definitely The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin! This trilogy is absolutely mind-blowing. Seriously. It’s crazily suspenseful, thrilling, creepy, plot-twist filled, and amazing. Not to mention the brilliantly crafted plot line and awesome characters that you just can’t help but love. I really think that this book deserves more attention because I rarely hear other people talking about it.

6. Coat, Scarves and Mittens: The weather has turned cold and it’s time to cover up. What’s the most embarrassing book cover you own that you like to keep hidden in public?

21825486

I think I’ve read my fair share of books with embarassing covers (AKA half-naked guys on the cover), but I, thankfully, don’t actually own any of them.
A sort of embarrassing cover that I do own (plus a matching bookmark!) is Last Year’s Mistake. This book is a very cute and innocent YA romance, but I feel like the cover doesn’t make it look that way, haha.

7. Pumpkin Spice: What’s your favourite fall time comfort food/foods?

For this I’m going to have to go with a classic pumpkin pie.
A good pumpkin pie (or several) is definitely always one of the highlights of the autumn season. Yummy, yum, yum.

Well, that’s all of them! Thanks for joining me today!
If you would like to do this tag, please feel free to do so, and leave me a comment so that I can go check out your answers.

I hope you all have a beautiful October!! ❤

Have your read any of these books I mentioned above? Are they on your TBR?
