Quote Corner #32: The Truth About Forever

Happy Tuesday, everybody!! I hope you’re all having a great week!! ๐Ÿ™‚
This morning I am sharing my a handful of my favourite quotes from one of my favourite books, The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen.
Hope you enjoy! ๐Ÿ˜‰

There is never a time or place for true love. It happens accidentally, in a heartbeat, in a single flashing, throbbing moment.

Shoulda, coulda, woulda. It’s so easy in the past tense.ย

โ€œBut if everything was always smooth and perfect, you’d get too used to that, you know? You have to have a little bit of disorganization now and then. Otherwise, you’ll never really enjoy it when things go right.โ€

But it was okay not to fit in everywhere, as long as you did somewhere.

It’s just that…I just think that some things are meant to be broken. Imperfect. Chaotic. It’s the universe’s way of providing contrast, you know? There have to be a few holes in the road. It’s how life is.

โ€œI like flaws. I think they make things interesting.โ€

I could go on and on all day long about how much I adore Sarah Dessen’s writing, but I think these quotes speak for themselves.
This was the second Sarah Dessen book that I ever read over five years ago, but it still remains to be one of my all-time favourites of hers. All of the characters were phenomenal, the plot was beautiful, and I don’t even have the words to describe flawless the romance was.
