Quote Corner #14: A Court of Thorns and Roses

Happy Tuesday!! I hope you’re all having a great day! 😉
Today I’m sharing some lovely quotes that I pulled out of A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas!
I hope you enjoy! ❤

I was as unburdened as a piece of dandelion fluff, and he was the wind that stirred me about the world.

Don’t feel bad for one moment about doing what brings you joy.

“I love you,’ he whispered, and kissed my brow. ‘Thorns and all.”

“You look . . . better than before.”
Was that a compliment? I could have sworn Lucien gave Tamlin an encouraging nod.
“And you hair is . . . clean.”

This book was so entertaining, although I definitely enjoyed the second book more than the first. As a huge fan of Beauty and the Beast, I liked the unique twist on the classic tale. The characters were also fantastic, especially Feyre and Rhysand, both of whom underwent phenomenal character development throughout the series. I didn’t mind Tamlin in the first book, but my goodness, he’s got nothing on Rhysand!
Unfortunately, I started the third novel but never ended up finishing, even though I had been really liking it. That was a little less than two years ago and now I forget basically everything about the series and have kind of lost interest to continue at this time. Maybe someday, though! 🙂

  1. I really want to read this series! The first book was phenomenal however I couldn’t get into the second one. After a year though, it may be time to return. Sometimes time can help! Hope you get a chance to revisit it too ☺️
