The Fall Book Tag

Good evening and HAPPY FIRST DAY OF FALL! I cannot believe that the season is upon us already. Time has been flying, but I’m very eager for fall! I can hardly contain my excitement for pumpkin pie, Halloween, all the spooky decorations!
In honor of the first day of the season, I will be doing the Fall Book Tag, created by Bionic Book Worm.
Let’s get right into it! šŸ˜€

The Rules:

  • Please link back to Bionic Book Worm, as the creator of this tag!! She wants to see your answers!!
  • Use the graphics ā€“ if you want šŸ™‚ (I did; theyā€™re gorgeous!!)
  • Have fun!

For this one I am going to go with A Matter of Heart by Amy Fellner Dominy. It isn’t a very popular book, but I think that it deserves a lot more recognition! I read it quite a while back, but the story really stuck with me. I found it to be very unique, and although it did have a few flaws, I very much enjoyed it as a whole.

The ending of Deity by Jennifer L. Armentrout, which is the third book in her Covenant series, completely blew me away! It was a major cliff hanger and plot twist that entirely blew my mind and got me ridiculously excited to read the next book!

I think that almost any of Sarah Dessen’s books would work for this, but I am going to go with The Truth About Forever, which is tied with Saint Anything for my favourite of her novels (at least I think it is; it’s really, really hard to pick favourites because all of them are so good). The book was such a feel good read, and I am in love with every single one of the characters in the story – except Jason, because he ruined everything! Plus Macy and Wes’ relationship was so adorable; they’re the cutest!

There really isn’t all that much yellow or orange in this cover, but there’s a tiny bit in the sunset. However, this book cover just SCREAMS fall at me, so I had to choose it! The football field and the sunset look so inviting and cozy with a wonderful autumn vibe, and I want to just jump right into the cover and live in that world!

For this one here I’ll have to go with my current read, Ace of Shades by Amanda Foody. I still have a little bit of the book left to go, but so far this book has been nothing if not action-packed! It’s an immersive story filled with exciting twists and turns that always leave me craving more. Hopefully I’ll have the chance to pick it back up again soon (school has been hectic!), so stay tuned for a review!!

At this time, my most anticipated read is Pumpkinheads by Rainbow Rowell! I don’t often gravitate toward graphic novels, but I am super excited for this one! The art style is really cute and I love the autumn theme. I’m really hoping that I’ll have the chance to pick it up at some point throughout the season!

  1. The change of season was very noticeable in England today: yesterday was beautifully sunny and today it was pouring buckets! Thank you for the tag as well, I will be taking part in this one (sorry if it may be a few weeks in the future though) x
